Technical and economic study mission for the Kairouan railway service from Enfidha

The railway service of the city of Kairouan originates at the station of Menzel El Mahatta and totals a linear of 48Km.
It includes the realization of a two-track railway platform, the construction of forty (40) hydraulic and drainage works, the construction of the stations of Kondar and Kairouan and the stops of G'mara, B'chachma and Fatnassa and the realization of twenty-six (26) engineering structures for the railway line elevation difference at the level of the large flows and the main roads crossed.

The mission is divided into three phases:
Phase 1 - Technical Study (TS) including:

  • Data collection and field surveys
  • Geometrical studies with search for layout variants
  • Hydrological and hydraulic studies
  • The environmental impact study
  • The elaboration of the preliminary measurements and the estimation of the work

Phase 2 - Economic Study (ES) including:

  • Drawing up economic and socio-economic assessments of route variants
  • Evaluation of the economic and financial profitability of the project

Phase 3 - Study Bidding Documents (SBD) including:

The elaboration of the tender documents for the realization of the studies necessary for the launching of the calls for tenders concerning the realization of the project.
