South intercommunal between the South Exit and the West Exit in Tunis

It is a 7km long urban expressway linking the southern exit and the western exit of Tunis. The project is of major importance for the disruption of the southern entrance of the city of Tunis by providing a more attractive route for traffic destined for the western districts of the city as well as for transit traffic destined for the northern and western regions of the country. It was then logical within the framework of this objective to upgrade all the crossroads with the other communication routes (rail & road).

The realization of the project requires, in addition to various road and drainage works, the construction of three (03) slab bridges, two (02) double open gantries, one of which is on piles, two (02) single open gantries, a 1.8 km linear of retaining walls as well as the installation of an interchange on the southern exit.
