Rehabilitation study of 125km of State Classified Roads in the Governorates of Beja and El Kef

This project is part of the upgrading of the transport sector with a view to accelerating the process of opening up the Tunisian economy, the Tunisian government to develop a strategy aimed at carrying out essential reforms and investments to modernize classified roads in 22 governorates.

This mission is focused on the rehabilitation works of 125km of classified roads spread over six (06) roads, the RR131, the RR49 and the RR29 in the Governorate of Beja and the RR78, the RR60 and the RR173 in the Governorate of El Kef.

It includes the widening and strengthening of the existing roadway, the construction of hydraulic and drainage structures, the construction of four (04) engineering structures on the Medjerda, Melah, Mellegue and Aïn Bidha rivers of respective lengths of 120m, 50m, 65m and 45m, the construction of ditches and earthen / concrete canals for the drainage of the platform, the development of crossroads.

  • Collection and analysis of existing data:
    • Data collection and field reconnaissance;
  • Preliminary and detailed design:
    • The study of the different variants of routes.
  • Economic, environmental and social assessment and preliminary design studies:
    • Geometric studies of variants of layouts;
    • Traffic and economic profitability studies / Metering and O / D survey;
    • Hydrological and hydraulic studies, as well as the longitudinal drainage of the platform;
    • The inventory of dealer networks and the study of deviations and protections;
    • Project analysis;
    • The environmental impact study;
    • The preparation of preliminary measurements and the estimate of the work.
  • CAD design;
  • Preparation of tender documents:
    • Preparation of the call for tender for the execution of projects
